AUTOLOGOUS ADIPOSE-DERIVED MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS

Autologous stem cells:
how treatment works, the process and risks.

Autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells | Personal source · Medical assessment · Culture and quality control

What this treatment involves

Mesenchymal stem cells are separated from the individual’s own adipose tissue and cultured. Following the required checks and quality confirmation, the clinic arranges administration and follow-up. This uses a cell preparation and differs from conditioned medium without intact living cells.

How suitability is assessed

The clinic’s relevant plans concern prevention of arteriosclerosis progression (PB3230222) and chronic pain relief (PB3230228). A doctor evaluates eligibility based on health, medical history and examination results. General fatigue or a wish to look younger should not be treated as an indication in itself.

From inquiry to follow-up

Each stage depends on clinic assessment and explanation. Culture success, available cell numbers, session count and scheduling cannot be guaranteed in advance.

What the evidence can tell us

The 2020 study reviewed records of 78 patients with arteriosclerosis, comparing selected lipid and vascular measures before and after infusion. Its retrospective design has limitations. It cannot guarantee benefit, rejuvenation or life extension, or replace assessment of an individual’s condition and alternatives.

Personal source does not remove risk

Discuss with the doctor the risks of collection and administration, including pain, bleeding and infection, as well as culture failure, allergic reactions and lack of benefit. The clinic’s public consent documents also describe possible thrombosis and paralysis in some patients with serious underlying conditions. Contraindications, personal risk and response arrangements require medical explanation.

This information concerns privately funded care as described in the clinic’s materials. Before deciding, ask the clinic about the preparation’s regulatory status, sourcing and processing, treatment alternatives, and arrangements for injury response and compensation.
